Once again, it's time to say goodbye to an old year and welcome a new one. I think the older we get, the faster time passes! 2024 was a very interesting year, to say the least. Here's a quick recap.
My New Knee is Doing Great
Last year at this time, I was slowly but surely recovering from knee replacement surgery. The first two weeks were horrendous; but little by little, things got better. A big shout out to Daria, my in-home physical therapist, and Jamie, at West Hills Rehabilitation, who helped me get back to normal in four months.
Want to Renovate?
Knit Me Sew Me's online presence underwent a major renovation in late summer. A new logo was designed by Jennie Dial; and the new website was constructed by Chris Burns. The new logo really depicts what Knit Me Sew Me is all about, and the new website is modern, beautiful and has one-stop shopping. If you haven't checked it out yet at www.knitmesewme.com, I hope you will do so.
New "Introduction to Knit Me Sew Me"
Thanks to Chris, there is an updated "Introduction to Knit Me Sew Me" video. In this video, I tell the story of how Knit Me Sew Me got started and our mission. Check it out below.

I was honored to be a guest on quite a number of podcasts during 2024. Check them out in the About Us section of the website at https://www.knitmesewme.com/about-us.

One of our most popular videos is how to wear a Knitty Head Wrap. Check it out below.
Lucky Ducky had a Fabulous Year!
Lucky Ducky was very active during 2024 and went to lots of new places!
He got his first facial by aesthetician extraordinaire, Lucy!
He also saw his first major league baseball game at Petco Park in San Diego.
When his back was bothering him, he got adjusted!!
He also went with to Santa Barbara wine country!
Last but least, he went on another cruise. Below are the videos we took while we were actually there; however, there will be more coming after the first of the year.
Custom Duckies
2024 was the year of the Custom Lucky Ducky! So many folks ordered custom Duckies, and it was a blast to work with them to create a Lucky Ducky of their very own. Have something in mind? We LOVE custom orders; so let us crochet one for you!

My Sincerest Thanks
Once again, I am eternally grateful for everyone who helped and mentored me and offered support and encouragement during 2024. It really was a trying year.
Kim, my social media guru and "therapist," who continues to amaze me with her creativity and expertise. She is one person who I can say "thank you" to and know it's just not enough. She is an integral part of Knit Me Sew Me, and I truly love and adore her!
Alyssa, thank you for all of your help this year. Congratulations on your new full-time job. I will miss your beautiful work.
To my loyal customers and with this year being so difficult, I appreciate all of you more than ever. Your support and encouragement always helps me to keep going and move forward, even it it's only one baby step at a time. Knit Me Sew Me is truly a family; and to all of you I met in 2024, welcome. We offer warmth, memories and a personal touch in every one of our handcrafted pieces. Our approach is always transparent, honest, and caring; and our personal customer service is second to none. It's not everyday that you encounter a business like Knit Me Sew Me that is filled with heart and authenticity.
To my ever-growing Alignable family, words cannot express my appreciation for all of your support, advice and "pick-me-ups," especially when I was feeling down and discouraged. To the members of Chuck's Wednesday group, you all are the absolute best of the best. I am so honored to be a part of this amazing group of friends and networkers who have so much to offer. Many of you have become close friends and confidants. A "big thank" you to those of you who ordered Lucky Duckies and purchased other products this year. It has been a pleasure to be of service.
Last but not least, my sister, Sharon. Even though she had a very tough year, she continued to be my rock and my anchor. Her help with all of the admin stuff I hate doing (like the inventory), freed me up to handcraft more beautiful creations. She always has great suggestions, as well as ways to make my job easier. We had a great time on our cruise and "boutiqueing" together; and yes, we still got asked "Are you twins?" Honestly, it gets tiring; but we have fun with it. Sissy, I admire your courage, your work ethic, your honesty and your integrity. You are the sunshine in my life, and I love you to the moon and back!
Save the Date
I have already started scheduling events for 2025. Please save the dates and hope to see you! P.S. There will be lots more to come!!
And, Finally
Until next time, be well and take care of one another; and here's to a fabulous 2025!
Alise
