Lucky Ducky Goes to Europe Again! - Part 4
I’m at the Peles Castle in Sinaia, Romania. It is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, in Prahova County, on an existing medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia, built between 1873 and 1914. Its inauguration was held in 1883. It was constructed for King Carol I. I can’t believe it’s still standing and is majestic in its beauty.
I also made a new friend. This lovely gypsy lady was nice enough to hold me for the photo. Her display was really pretty, and I loved the lace!
The "sign" photo is definitely a fork in the road. I have no idea what these signs say, and I really hope we don’t get lost!!
I’m off to Bucharest, Romania, next!!
